Lenses and Photography Vocabulary

I would use a telephoto lens to get a closer look at the subject from far away to make it look more 2D.

I would use a prime lens to These types of lenses have larger apertures and therefore are used more in low light than standard lenses.

I would use a wide-angle lens to use this lenses to get a beater size of the photo.

Depth of field(shallow and wide)  is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.

Light (angle and intensity)    Several measures of light are commonly known as intensity. These are obtained by dividing either a power or a luminous flux by a solid angle, a planar area.

Shadows A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object

Diffusion A distinguishing feature of diffusion is that it results in mixing or mass transport.

Exposure n photography, exposure is the amount of light allowed to fall on each area unit of a photographic medium photographic film or image sensor

Aperture (f-stop) The lens aperture is usually specified as an f-number,

Shutter speed  In photography, shutter speed or exposure time is the effective length of time a camera's shutter is open.

ISO closely related ISO system is used to measure the sensitivity of digital imaging systems. Relatively insensitive film, with a correspondingly lower speed.
