extra credit

1. the man in the subway that was killed was shoved into the tracks by another person the photographer said that he had his camera with him that day and he took photos to alert the driver to stop but something was wrong and the subway crashed against him.

2. the photographer took the photo to alert the driver in order to stop the subway.

3. I think he should of try to help him but i think he was probably scared that he might would of fall over and killed him to.

4. I think he did the best thing he could do he was able the get the photo for the cover of the news paper.

5. I agree because he was able to tell people that the subway is very dangerous.

6. i thing for a photographer is important to take photos of real life than to save some one
but a regular person would of save him.

7. would a photographer do in a situation like this what would have been their reactions after seen this happen and then dying right in front of their eyes.

8. I think that a photographer should never avoid taking a photo like this because iys is news that people should know.

9. I can tell that the photographer fells guilty for not trying to save the person from the subway.

rules of photography review

1. rules of thirds is when there are more than one photo that looks the same
but three different angels and looks like a grid.
2. balancing elements is when in the photo it shows an object that looks like it
balancing of something.
3. leading lines is when the photo shows something that has to do with lines or shows
lines.
4. symmetry and patterns (repetition) is that the photo shows symmetry in the photo to look good
and has patterns so the photo repetition.

lytro warm-up/ fashion

1. what happen when you click on the photo was that the photo background
change it gets more clear.

2. the camera focus changes the photo
3. you need to know how to make the focus look very good.

4. I think it is worth the money because it looks very cool to make
the the focus of the photo.

1. one change made was the eyes.
2. i think not because it is showing that their product don't really work.
3. i think this is wrong what they are doing.
4. i think it was OK to put make up on her but what was wrong was the
 changing the way she looks.

5. the difference between fashion photography is that they change every thing about the photo.
and photojournalism they don't change the way the person place or thing looks like in the photo.

6. the difference is that both photographers think what they are going to do later after they took the photo if it looks good or out of focus that why fashion photography and photojournalism are not that different.

ISO

1. What are the advantages of shoot at a higher ISO at a sporting event like basketball or a night football game?you can catch more depth in the photo.

 2. What suggestions did the author make about using a low ISO?
SO 100 or 200, whenever possible. When there is plenty of light, you should always use the lowest ISO, to retain the most detail and to have the highest image quality.

3. What suggestions did the author make about using a high ISO?
You should increase the ISO when there is not enough light for the camera to be able to quickly capture an image. Anytime I shoot indoors without a flash, I set my ISO to a higher number to be able to freeze motion.

Shutter Speed

At the beginning while the sun is still partially up and the courtyard has reasonable light?
e.) the DJ/MC working at the middle of the circle.
Towards the end when there is no sun and has gotten dark enough that you can't see from one end of the courtyard to the other.  d.) someone working at a booth.

 a) By setting the camera to shutter priority mode, where you set the shutter speed and the camera automatically selects the aperture.

b) By setting the camera to manual mode, where you set both shutter speed and aperture manually.

Aperture

1. What part of the body should we closely relate aperture?
the body.
2. Finish this sentence - the smaller the Aperture less depth the higher the Aperture more depth.
3. In your own words tell me how aperture impacts Depth of Field? if you have a bigger F number such as F/32 means a smaller aperture.
